Our Objectives

IUT CAD Society is the first and only society in Islamic University of Technology dedicated to engineering drawing and design. Since the club's inception in 2019, the society has been aiding students from many departments at IUT in sharpening their skills by providing workshops on a regular basis and hosting CAD competitions that have allowed students to reassess and enhance their skills.

Our goal is to guide the members through the incredibly creative and fascinating realm of engineering drawing and design. IUT CAD Society welcomes anyone with even a casual interest in engineering drawing.

What is our Goal

The aim of the IUT CAD Society is to develop budding talents and provide them with a platform to showcase their abilities. Consequently, classes are conducted on a regular basis where students are taught everything from basics to the more complex features of CAD modelling. Industry experts are invited to participate as keynote speakers in our webinars so that students can gain an understanding of the dynamic and ever-changing industry and prepare properly.

Over the years, the society has successfully nurtured students who have gone on to win national and international competitions hosted by Dassault Systèmes, CUET CAD Society, and other institutions. Many of the members have received Dassault Systèmes CSWA and CSWP and even CSWE certifications, establishing them as highly competitive Solidworks professionals.
